Dining on the patio, particularly in the lovely spring weather, allows for an experience reminiscent of the chic side cafés of Paris. It’s a place where culinary dreams come to life, and where the magic of food comes with an array of delightful flavors. Maison Margaux invites you to immerse yourself in this culinary wonderland, where each bite tells a story, and every moment is a memory waiting to be made.

It’s no secret everything Chef David Fhima touches turns to gold. Wow, and wow. Maison Margaux is superb. The “Choose Your Own Adventure” cocktails did not disappoint, the fare was excellent and the vibe was energized. My only regret is I have no food or drink photos to share, only a few of the proprietor, amazing wait staff and other fun patrons. The service was a complete display of team effort and good timing. Bravo. And... dining on the side patio facing southwest on a beautiful, sunny Minnesota spring evening: sublime. I cannot wait to return!

Well, I have gout now. Uffda. So French, all the butter. Service was amazing. Everyone seemed happy to be working there. The chef/owner apparently works every dinner service which is a huge plus. Anybody who's worked at a restaurant knows that when the owner isn't around the kitchen staff is stoned and the wait staff is drunk and smoking out by the dumpster, so at least no shanangans. I gotta say, this is probably the first time I've had fois gras on a steak where it actually paired well. Usually it's a giant slice that tastes like a peanut butter smear but this actually melted a bit and was really good. The sole was fantastic. Desserts, drinks, the whole thing. Loved it all.

And here....we...go.... The drive to Maison is easy. A zip here and a dip there. I highly recommend the valet parking option. You hop out of the car and are almost at the door before your car is even parked. Be sure to tip your valet. Ok, now time for the meat and potatoes.....pun very much intended. Upon entrance through the brilliant glass and chrome doors, you are greeted by smiles for miles by the host staff and a completely unadulterated view of the kitchen where all this magic is created. The atmosphere is pleasant with slightly elevated voices of happiness and excitement. Keenan was our host for the evening, and his knowledge and hospitality was on point to say the least. If there was a wine question he was unaware of he humbly stated so and said that he would consult the sommelier to which he brought back perfect results. We held nothing back with any course. Our pre meal drinks offered the finest Bordeaux's and whites from France along with two Arc Di Triumph mixed drinks of the finest whisky's and Brandy's Tiana was support to Keenan and her glowing spirit and vibe only added glitter to the already shimmering night blossoming before us Hors d'oeuvres came at us like a wave from a hurricane. First came the bread service brought forth from and I am not kidding.... sourdough bread born from ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY YEARS OLD STARTER!! Chewy, tangy deliciousness with the softest and delightful butter you could ask for. Bring on the Aligot!!!! Or shall I say.... The TWO Aligot . Because one just isn't enough! Hahaha, three of us and it was gone so fast! Then came the Petit Wagyu tartare a robust dance of savory and sharp flavors on that delicious 150 year old sourdough starter . But wait!!! There's more!!! TWO Dozen of the sweetest oysters topped with smoked bass caviar and their house made champagne sauce served in the cutest dropper bottle allowing for the most tactical spreading of extra flavor across those sweet little sea morsels.Lmao but what about dinner?!?! Lol Mom had the Petit Tenderloin with wine reduction, the wife had the Grand Wagyu filet, while I had the bone marrow and duck confit . Each dish was a powerhouse all it's own. Every flavor its own flare into the sky of our pallets. Personally my eyes began to glass over barely minutes into our main courses. The wine sommelier is not to be second guessed as his knowledge is tested and true. If you are still with me here we have now reached the Pinnacle of the evening..... dessert!!! The wife had the chocolate souffle, a heavenly dance of freshly made vanilla ice cream along with what was essentially the finest hot chocolate in an almost solid form. Mom had a delightful apple like pastry/cake we cannot remember the name of unfortunately While myself had to keep tradition alive and have none other than the house made creme brulee . A tantalizing balette of sweet custard with that class defining soft crispiness of the burnt sugar to wrap it all up. 30000/10 overall score. If you wish to traipse the life fantastique and need a culinary magic carpet to take you there, Come to Minneapolis North and give Maison Margaux your business as we did. We are coming back there is no doubt of that. Merci beaucoup!!!!!

The attention from the valet parking to the table service was impeccable. The mussels were delicious as were the oysters. Good drinks and dessert. Just a detail, a restaurant with this type of smaller menu that is to provide the entire menu, they did not have seafood because they had run out.

Our group of five stopped at the terrace to have some drinks and an appetizer while on a bike ride. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in early June, and the terrace was perfect. The bistro tables and chairs reminded us of a Paris cafe (this same group of five had been in Paris together the past October), and the screens around the terrace had images of Paris landmarks and Monet’s Gardens at Giverny adding charming scenes to the outdoor space. Our server, Dakota, was attentive and gracious, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and caring. Our snacks and drinks were great. The glassware was beautiful. The end-to-end experience was wonderful. Thank you to everyone at Maison Margaux!

Good French food, good choices for vegans, and a full bar! Service was fast, friendly, and gave us enough space to talk without rushing us out the door. The place is quite contemporary and has a different vibe at the basement (just check it out if you're dining on the main floor). Certainly a place worth trying at least once if not for the French food, at least the great cocktail creations! We celebrated a birthday and the singer was awesome! Seems he's from the local opera.

I took my wife out for brunch to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere is beautiful, the exposed brick and history behind the building adds to the experience. The open kitchen adds to the allure of the space. We had the fresh bread with sweet cream butter and fresh jam, I ordered a Croque Madam and my wife had an Omelette Au Fromage. Both our meals were perfectly cooked, and they paired very nicely with a Bellini and a Mimosa. The host, wait staff, and General Manager were very friendly, attentive, and made our experience very memorable! I highly recommend the brunch if you have the opportunity to go! 10/10 stars!

Me and my company ran a business event here and from my personal experience, everything was fabulous! Margo is an absolute star to work with in planning the event. She's very attentive, communicated efficiently and quickly throughout the whole process. On the night we had Kendra serve us...her the front of house and Margo made the whole experience seamless. We loved the menu. We ordered the scallops (we had a choice of between 3 or 4 scallops. I regrettably chose 3 and I honestly shouldve gone for 4 because they were absolutely DELICIOUS! If you ever go for the scallops, dont make the same mistake as me, please go for 4!), a cheese souffle for starters. We had the Short Ribs Bourguignon and Coq Au Van for mains. The short ribs was so rich and flavourful and the perfect size aswell - I highly recommend this! Then dessert was a chef's choice which was a cheesecake! We loved our experience here and would love to host another event here when we have the chance to go back to Minneapolis!
